Fourteen sworn affidavits from the priests and settlers in the Camargo area regarding the founding of the towns and missions, in order to determine whether the settlements come under the jurisdiction of the Bishop or of the missionary College of Zacatecas. There is a report by the Bishop which empowers the missionaries to perform marriages and other acts pending decision by higher authority.
